For over two hundred years, the United States of America has been a lighthouse of opportunity and liberty for the rest of the world. America was founded to be a country that offered freedom and unlimited possibilities to the common man and woman. Unfortunately, this American light of freedom has grown dim. The famous quote written by Thomas Jefferson, “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” describes and embodies the freedom the United States was meant to offer to the rest of the world. Sadly, this liberty has been denied to a generation of millions of Americans; the unborn. One of the largest and most famous organizations that proudly supports abortion is the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc. For nearly a century, Planned Parenthood has blatantly disregarded the importance of sexual purity, the sacredness of the God ordained marriage bed, and ultimately the indisputable value of human life. May God in Heaven have mercy on those who are fighting to kill His children that He is still knitting together in their mother's wombs.

The Most Dangerous Place in the World

In our society today, you have about a 0.8% chance each year of dying from disease, car accident, murder, or from any other numerous causes of death. However, if you are an unborn child in the womb, you have a staggering 50% chance of dying before birth. 25% of all pregnancies miscarry before the sixth week. The other 25% of babies are aborted. A study showed that 26 out 100 unborn babies are murdered in their own mother's womb. After finding this out, I was stunned. I had no idea how incredibly unsafe it is to be an unborn baby. To think that the most dangerous place to be is your own mother's womb. You might be the result of your mother's own sexual indulgences or you may just simply be "unintended". Therefore, since you mother didn't intentionally become pregnant, you will most likely be punished for being "in the way". In the United States, a woman can have abortion in the first three months of pregnancy for any reason. She has the right to terminate the life of her child the rest of her nine months of pregnancy as long as the reason is for the preservation of her health. This regulation can be interpreted in almost way in favor of getting the abortion. Women have said that carrying the pregnancy to term would injure them mentally, emotionally, and even socially! It is absolutely ridiculous the way rules have been bent in order to make abortion available at any point and for practically any reason. In the United States, 4300 babies are aborted daily. Approximately three have died since you started reading this post. Please join me in prayer as I petition God to spare the lives of the unborn. It deeply saddens me to know that the one place that God designed to be a protected safe sanctuary to grow a human life has become the most dangerous place in the world.

Mommy, what is abortion?
I can still remember the day when I first discovered what abortion was. I had heard the word and like a normal nine- year- old, I wanted to know what it was. I went to mom and asked her. I could tell it was hard for her to tell me and she was struggling to find the right words. "Maranatha, abortion is when a mother decides to kill her baby before it is born." I was stunned. My young ears could not believe what I heard. Why would a mother want to kill her baby? How could she do such an awful thing as killing her own son or daughter? I ran upstairs to my bed and cried. I sobbed and sobbed into my pillow until my eyes ran out of tears. My heart was broken and I felt myself hurting and mourning over the deaths of all those murdered innocent babies. I grabbed my aching sides as I imagined all of those children who never even saw their father, never got to kiss their mother. I prayed. I don't remember what I said or even what I prayed for. It was a cry of desperation from a hurting child. And like a comforting father embracing me, God reminded me that He is still the father of all those babies and that they were right then safe with Him in heaven. I blinked away the tears and felt encouraged knowing that all of those beautiful children were no longer suffering, but rejoicing. I knew right then, with burning passion growing in my heart, I wanted to fight and end abortion. God has renewed that passion in me and now, I am trying harder than ever to protest and fight it. Help me in this fight!!! BE ON YOUR KNEES!!!!!! Pray fervently for all the women who may be considering abortion; that they will learn the truth and not terminate what God created. Pray for the abortion Doctors. Pray that the Holy Spirit will convict their hearts and show them that what they are doing is wrong. Pray for our political leaders who are trying to fight and end abortion. Pray that they will have courage and not give up their fight. Thank you for your prayers and may God in Heaven hear our cry and end this bloody practice in our country!!

Forgiveness and Healing
"As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us."
Psalm 103:12
How wonderful it is to know that God, in His infinite mercy, forgives us our sins and then removes them from us till they are as far as the east is from the west. No matter what we may have done, no matter how we have failed, once we repent, God is ready to cleanse us and make us whiter than snow. Many women who made the mistake of aborting their baby can often feel that God could never forgive them. This horrible pang of regret and guilt clouds the woman's view of God's unending love and mercy. There is no other cure for the overwhelming pain of having an abortion except for the tender grace and mercy of Jesus Christ. For anyone who has had an abortion and is struggling to find healing, go no where else but the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. He and He alone can forgive you, remove your pain, and help you to start fresh. It is never too late to begin again. In the Bible, when David committed a sin, he pleaded with God to forgive his sin. He asked God, "Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me." (Psalm 51:10). God is willing to not only forgive your sin, but to also clean you of all unrighteousness. The mercy of God is so boundless that it is described in Psalms as reaching the heavens. "Your mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds." (Psalm 36:5) If you are a victim of an abortion and all the emotional pain it brings, take a moment right now to ask God's forgiveness and cleansing. He is ready and waiting to wash you and make you a new person. With Jesus in your life, the Heavenly Father does not see your sins or past mistakes; He sees the righteousness of His son in your life. God desires to make you as white and clean as snow. Run to Him and ask for healing. He is willing. God Bless you!!

Fearfully and wonderfully made
"For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise You for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well." - Psalm 139: 13-14
The words inspired by God to the Psalmist are the most wonderful and beautiful picture of the glory of an unborn child concealed in its mother's womb. How often do people take for granted the value of the soul of the person God is personally forming within the womb. Unborn lives are so taken for granted, that they are no longer even seen as human lives. They are merely a mass of tissue, a clump of cells, an unimportant fetus, a "missed period", or the very popular term: "product of conception". The unborn children have been so degraded that they no longer have the right to live. Their mother decides whether they live or die. How messed up is our society that mothers, for practically any reason, can end the life of their own child? One of the biggest reasons is that many women don't fully realize what they are doing. They have been deceived into believing that they are not carrying a tiny life inside them. But rather an nonliving and unimportant "potential human". One of the biggest pushers for this lie is the organization Planned Parenthood. They are an organization that is "supposed" to be an organization that helps women to make choices that are best for their lives and the life of the their child. Instead, Planned Parenthood tends to operate with an abortion first mentality. They will do and say anything to sell as many abortions as they can. In this video, the Planned Parenthood counselor says that a fetus does not have a heart beat until 18 weeks. She claims it may have something different than a heart beat called heart "tones" at 3 weeks. There is her first lie. In reality, a baby has its very own independent heart BEAT only 18 days after conception and by 21 days, the heart is pumping blood through a closed circulatory system. The counselor's worst and biggest lie is that the pregnancy is a not a baby until birth. Apart from being completely wrong, this statement is also completely ridiculous!! Only three weeks after conception, the baby already has a spinal cord, a beating heart, and several other organs. Five weeks after conception, the baby's brain is almost finished developing. Six weeks after conception, the baby is only a 1/2 inch long and has eyes, ears, a nose, arms, and fingers and is already beginning to move. Seven weeks after conception, the baby's bones have begun to develop and its toes have formed. Eight weeks after conception, the baby's eyes can close with tiny eyelids. All of this happens in only the first few weeks of a 40 week pregnancy. It is truly a baby long before it is born. Women need to realize what they are doing by having an abortion. Planned Parenthood also needs to more upfront and not cagey about the baby developing inside the mother. My blog
My name is Maranatha Purring and this pro- life blog is designed to protect innocent lives and be a voice for the unborn. The unborn child is a unique and valuable human person and is hand made and loved by God. As humans, we do not have the right of the authority to decided when to end a life. Today, an unborn child is being denied the right to life. Every hour, close to 180 babies are brutally murdered within their own mother's womb and then discarded like human waste. This vile and evil holocaust must be fought and people must speak up and do something to end it. If you know in your heart how wrong abortions are and do nothing to stop it, you are just as guilty if you were in support of it. I want people to read this blog and pass it on to as many people as they can.
